Tourism Day 2025

Our Hospitality & Tourism Management students proudly joined the global celebrations of World Tourism Day 2025, embracing this year’s theme of Tourism and Sustainable Transformation.
The day was filled with engaging activities, entertainments, and panel discussion that highlighted the importance of tourism in connecting cultures, creating opportunities, and building a more sustainable future.
We are proud of our students for showcasing their creativity, passion, and dedication to the tourism industry, living proof that the future of tourism is in great hands!

President’s and Dean’s Awards Ceremony – Academic Years 2023 & 2024

MSI and MSU students from the academic years 2023 and 2024 were honored at the President’s Awards and Dean’s Awards Ceremony. A total of 107 students received the Dean’s Awards, while 7 students were presented with the prestigious President’s Awards by the MSU & MSI President and Founder, Prof. Dr. Mohd Shukri Ab Yajid. The event took place at MSI Colombo and was graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor of MSU, Prof. Dr. Juninah Ab Hameed.
